- Jeremy Holton Added April 23, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★On 17 June 2016 Shane closed the workshop and has gone mobile. The phone number will still work and he will come to your house to maintain your car. If it requires serious work he will take it back to his property where he has hoists etc
I have been getting my cars serviced at McDonald's for several years and they have always done an excellent job. For example I had a bad problem with my Nissan Patrol that nobody would work out. Even the Nissan Dealer was stumped and wanted to charge me a packet to strip the engine down. Eventually we worked it out with McDonald's with considerable savings.
I haven't got a basis for comparison but I think their prices are average, a lot cheaper than a Dealer I guess. Its just that they are good mechanics. The boss Shane is a nice guy who is very approachable and will spend the time discussing what needs doing to your vehicle.
The only problem might be getting your car booked in as they are very popular and therefore busy
